Projected Village Construction Schedule 2025
May 31-June 1: Orientation on Memorial Day Weekend. Review of construction projects with booth construction coordinators, and construction crews. Initial work related to immediate and actionable needs. Set scheduling for month. Communicate with or SEE Rick with any questions. 541 543 0624
June 7-8, June 14-15, June 21-22, June 27-28: Vegie management, construction projects continued according to established scheduling with booth coords.
July 5-6: Continued work as needed.
Booth Construction will take place on the 2nd and 3rd weekend of June, perhaps more. Any booth rebuilds will happen at the same time so we can overlap tools and needs.
We cannot do a full inventory of additional repairs until Fair construction does its inspection. It is difficult to do so not knowing the full workload. I do believe we have the beginnings of a permanent crew building. The booth rep participation in forming construction coordination for each booth has been working well. Each booth is stepping up to the plate considerably. Again, a booth construction coordinator is someone who takes responsibility to help me and coordinate with their booth members to focalize the needs, resources, and work party participation for your booth. It is preferred bot not necessary to have construction experience. We encourage anyone who wants to learn skills to participate. Thank you for your participation.
