Projected Village Construction Schedule 2026
May 30-311: Orientation on Memorial Day Weekend. Review of construction projects with booth construction coordinators, and construction crews. Initial work related to immediate and actionable needs. Set scheduling for month. Communicate with or SEE Rick with any questions. 541 543 0624
The first work party will be the weekend that main camp opens. Booth construction coordinators should contact me in advance to arrange a time to meet.
I would ask all booth, coordinators and booth construction coordinators, to discuss any needs for their respective booths that they want to address for this year for construction.
We need to set a meeting times in order to have a smooth assessment and time for each booth. Too many people show up and expect a meeting. Without a schedule they tend run together.
In general, I will be on site starting at 10 AM. And stay through till approximately 6 PM.
As always, if you intend to work bring gloves, safety classes, water and snacks.
We will look at construction needs for the year before scheduling more construction work parties.
In general, expect Saturday and or Sunday to be key work days.
We regularly schedule mid week work days as needed. Therefore if people work or have obligations on the weekends we may be able to cover your work party requirements at those times. Reach out to me early in the season so I get a sense of the need for this.
All construction work scheduling including volunteer work party requirements must be scheduled in advance through me. Call RIck at 541 543 0624. Call me and you will be signed up for a specific job. Text please. No voice mail. This allows us to insure smooth work flows and coordinated efforts.
We will also offer pick up work when available at scheduled work parties.. Many issues come up randomly as we go.
