The Health and Healing booth in the Oregon country fair’s community village includes groups and individuals who practice all manner of modalities and methods to heal the body and the mind.

Northwest Therapeutic Touch Institute

Northwest Therapeutic Touch Institute supports and enhances the practice and study of the Krieger-Kunz Method of Therapeutic Touch. We hold practicums once or twice a month in Eugene and Salem, and soon in Portland; we participate in local health fairs, we teach Therapeutic Touch in communities around Oregon, but most often in Eugene.

Allies, LLC

Utilizing a whole life approach, Allies empowers, encourages, and educates individuals with exceptionalities by providing high quality supports with daily living skills at home and in the community.

Individuals can join our organization by contacting their Service Coordinators for add our services to their ISP. We also accept private pay customers, and offer scholarships for those that cannot afford to pay. Many times customers walk because they have seen something fun that we were involved in and and we help them navigate the system to get the supports they need.

Love Goes Here

Community Village is a part of the Oregon Country Fair Family and is dedicated to education, information access, and networking for progressive social change. We create a spiritual center manifesting the Village Vision of love, peace, trust, justice, cooperation, equality, and social service. By believing in dreams, thinking of others, valuing differences, and experimenting with new ideas, we hope to expand our consciousness, growing beyond the Fair into the world at large.

in the event we have constructive criticism to share, we will talk to each other directly,
though using another as a sounding board is OK.

OCF CODE OF CONDUCT

We are an association of equals. Each and every member of our community is entitled to respectful and equitable treatment by all other participants. The Guidelines apply whenever and wherever we gather for OCF activities or discussion, in person or online.
The OCF is committed to the principles of
non–violence. Mental, verbal, physical, or sexual abuse will not be tolerated.
We share reverence for the land. Stewardship is everyone’s responsibility. Please help protect the plant and animal life whose space we share and work to extend this practice beyond the OCF and into daily life.
