No candles, no incense burning, fire extinguisher (5 lbs) near your tent with easy access… One needed for every camp ground and booth. They do a training on site, it’s fun! You get to put out a fire!

DECON PROCESS PROPOSAL – NATHAN – 5
Nathan Council and Wild Edibles: Asking for consensus on proposal to staff Village Decon.
Booths and Coord be allowed to propose someone from booth to staff Sunday at end of Fair to Tuesday AM to pack up stage, remove bamboo planters, gathering sign for long term storage. That effort would fulfill eligibility requirement of 2 work parties. They would also be fed during their time working, Sunday dinner to Tuesday lunch.
How about throw in token for the Ritz…?
Stay busy, get the job done, coordinated by Village Decon lead. Other crews are expected to do 4 hours for each meal.
Does the village have a centralized monitor of meeting eligibility rules? If not, why do we need this.
This is done by booth coords rather than “centralized”. Council could consider this at their next meeting.
Premature to ask for consensus. We did discuss this last meeting… Need this to be sure the decon work is staffed. We don’t really need consensus to do this. We could amend this to not need work parties the next year. Camping is allowed for these workers. Camping and feeding will be of no concern. Let’s consent tonight please! Why can’t this be booth empowerment? Because last year there were not enough people to get it done in a timely manner.
Can we consent to Council to finalize this proposal? YES!!
VILLAGE RESTAURANT MENU DISCUSSION – Laurie – 10
Laurie from Café Mundo since 2012, missed being here last year. Folks love our Naughties. Our coastal restaurant is retired, this is our only restaurant now. Her org is a for profit, they have about 35 workers who they buy passes for $5300 investment in Café Mundo, not including food costs. Open many hours, too. They do fundraisers every year – Sat night’s $1 for every naughty sales to help villagers in the past. Wants to add Chicken Mole Tacos to their menu in addition to vegetarian restaurant, has experience in keeping things serrate, chicken will be precooked. Waiting for Food committee reply.
Some want chicken!! Vegetarians need not stop other’s menu choices. Frog says thank you for your fundraising for him in the past. We are asking if we can consent to allow free range, organic chicken along with vegetarian meals, all kept separate, from this restaurant (Café Mundo). YES!!! With one stand aside.
ONE FUN THING – 5
Paul Simon leads this, walk, look around, say hello to new folks, nice sing along!!

• Love Wins 20 votes
• Together We Stand for a better World.
• It takes a village
• Little village big dreams
• I missed ac purple of these because I can only type so fast look them up on the website 🤷♂️
• Reflection and Connection
• Be the Change See the Change
• It takes a Village to Grow a Peach
• Etc etc…
• Baked in Buttery Flakey Crust
We laughed a lot with Tim having difficulty with the tongue twisty ones.
Dea from Sprit booth: Speaking out against buttery flakey crust. T-shirts, opening ceremony wraps ceremony around what we choose. If we do buttery flakey crust because people cheer and laugh. If that’s what we pick because it’s funny, spirit both won’t make it part of the ceremony.
We decided to add these choices to a NEW POLL: It takes a Village to Grow a Peach, Bee the Village, Preach Peach Peace Please, Baked in a Buttery Flaky Crust, and Top 4.
ACTIVIST REPORT – 5
Plaedo: Intentional Ccommunity booth. We like to bring intention to community. You could say that people are in intentional communities focus really deeply on those interpersonal dynamics on how we relate to each other and make decisions together. We put the spotlight on that. That is a form of activism if you look at the world today and how decisions are made, we’re definitely activists, providing an alternative to the dominant model.
OTHER:
Maggie mentioned NAACP wants to join Doors booth. Council will address this at their May 19, Zoom using the same access code as the Village meeting.

Council allocation meeting Tuesday April 25 via Zoom 7pm, booth coord is Thursday April 27 Zoom 7pm. Payment due at end of May, but the sooner the better.
