Greetings building users and partners of Eugene FUMC,
In these uncertain times, each of us have the responsibility to make choices for the public good. Our highest priority is the health, safety, and well-being of our people, with particular concern for the most vulnerable among us.
We are closely monitoring the spread of Covid 19, and it has become clear that social distancing is required to stop the spread of the virus, and that the populations most at risk are highly represented in our building users and partners.
As a result, we are directing that all public usage of our building be cancelled for the next 10 days, effective immediately. This means all meetings and events scheduled at our church between now and March 22 are postponed.
We will meet as a staff to assess the situation again on March 20, and make a plan going forward from there. I will communicate that plan with building users using this email thread.
We appreciate your support and understanding during these difficult times, and hope to be back to normal operations very soon.
Take good care,
Toni
